Meeting Bingo

"We hold ourselves and each other to a higher standard, and we have fun doing it."
                                                            - 2009 Meeting Bingo Champion

Meeting Bingo is a great tool when you and your teammates want to break your bad meeting habits and hold each other accountable for better meeting planning, presentations and behavior.  Each square on the Meeting Bingo card is something you don't want to do or someone you don't want to be.

Players mark boxes when they observe an event or activity that appears on their card happening in the meeting.  For example, if someone fails to silence their cell phone, players may mark Electronic Interruptions on their bingo card.

Each card contains items related to planning the meeting, such as Wrong People in the Room and Unclear Purpose, presentation and facilitation, such as Can't Read the Slides and Off-Topic Discussion, and people we all find annoying, such as Disagrees-With-Everything Man and Hypnotized-by-Email Man.  There are even bingo boxes on the cards for things that are beyond the control of the meeting hosts, such as Room Is Too Hot

Meeting Bingo is played just like traditional Bingo, except the real winners are the players who attend meetings and where no one marks a single box.  The point of Meeting Bingo is not to assign blame, but rather to increase awareness, communication and accountability for bad habits that everyone agrees inhibit productivity.  Attendees know in advance that a Bingo Meeting will be slightly less annoying (or at least more fun) than the meetings they are used to attending.

The items on each card are taken from 15 Presentation Tips and Don't Be That Guy!

Meeting Bingo cards are printed on high-quality card stock.

Each set contains 24 unique cards.
