Posting Etiquette

Welcome to the Consulting Stance Forums! We encourage every visitor to read and participate in the forums.

This community was created to provide an environment for consultants with many different levels of experience to share tips and ideas, and to post questions or issues that others may be able to answer.

To ensure that the forums achieve this purpose, we ask that you follow these rules when posting:

1. When posting a story from your own consulting history, do not mention the name of your consulting firm or the names of your clients. We want to respect their privacy and preserve our own integrity.

2. When answering a question posed by another consultant, remember how you felt when you were new to consulting. Be friendly and helpful with your response. Insulting or disrespectful responses will be removed by the moderator.

3. Avoid profanity or any inflammatory language.

4. Links to your personal blog are welcome, as are links to helpful resources for consultants. Links to other sites, either in posts or in your forum signature, will be reviewed and may be removed by the moderator if they are deemed inappropriate.

Users who violate these guidelines or whose participation is contrary to the spirit of this community will receive a warning and given the opportunity to change their behavior before they are banned from the Forum site.

This community will be a valuable resource for many consultants and we look forward to learning from your experience. If you have any questions or comments, please reply to this post and we will respond as soon as possible.
