9/14/09 A Message from Consulting Stance

Okay, the new website is finally up and running.  We've got more blogs, more download-able tools and templates, and the online office hours discussion space is working.  This is so exciting!

For the next few days, as we get the rest of the documents uploaded and the Connections Directory built, we are asking you (our loyal subscribers) to log in to the website and register for an account (FREE) and subscribe to a one-year Total Access Membership (FREE...for now) and help us with the final testing.

Visit a few pages, start a conversation in the Forum, maybe post a blog, and generally explore the site.  Please let us know if you find any problems, broken links or confusing instructions.  We built this for you and we want it to be valuable to you.  Tell us what's missing.

When you register, you'll be asked to enter your username.  This is the name that will appear with your blog and forum posts, so you'll want to use your real name.  For example, Christine's username is "Christine Lambden".  This way, when she googles herself (as she does nearly every day), she'll find her blog posts on Consulting Stance.

When you post a blog, be sure to include a link to your personal website.  This will help you with Google rankings, but more importantly, it will allow others in the community to find you.  Valuable connections start with being able to find each other.
